Marton's Apartment is a 55 square meter flat located on the border of sixth an fifth district at Bajcsy-Zsilinszky way 17. The apartment consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room with a kitchen and dining area and a small balcony, which is suitable for 4 guests. Childrens are welcomed at all age.
Location:
You cannot ask for a better location because the apartment is situated right next to the world famous St. Stephen Cathedral (also known as Basilica), which means it is literally in the heart of Budapest. All historical sites are in walking distance such as the Parliament, Opera, Heroes Square, Museums, House of Terror, Széchenyi thermal bath etc.
Furthermore, the location is exceptional in relation to public transport because stations of all Metro lines (M1 ,M2, M3) are less than 5 minutes walk away as well as stops of bus and tram lines. The ticket office of the sightseeing bus located right next to the main entrance of the apartment building and its bus stop is across the street.

“Loved the apartment. Fantastic location - really hard to find one in a better location (and I know Budapest pretty well). Apartment itself is a great size - 2 people very comfortable but could accommodate up to 3 or 4 people without it feeling too crowded. Large bathroom and easily the best water pressure I’ve had out of at least 5 different Budapest apartment stays. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, nespresso etc. Good wi-fi, comfortable beds, nice layout. Lovely and quiet too, with no noisy neighbours. Amazing view of part of the basilica as you come out of the apartment. Host was awesome - quick responses and could not have been more helpful. Easy to find as host gave great directions and then there is a door code for main door and a lock box. I’m absolutely going to try and stay there again when I go back later this year. Try the Georgian restaurant next door and also a lovely cocktail / champagne bar down on the right side of the basilica called Sophisto. Fabulous cocktails and Daniel is lovely! “ -Sally-Anne, UK

I established Marton’s Apartment in order to provide a very unique and unforgettable experience for our guests. As a frequent traveler I always look for a unique accomodations where I have the opportunity to get to know the culture and pepole of my destination as much as possible. It is also very important for me to visit places that are not considered as tourist attraction but worth to take a visit. I am operating my short-term rental with this mind set, so I am very responsive to all inquires and questions, more than happy to recommend places based on the requirements of my guests.Furthermore, the location and the apartment building itself is really unique aswell. As the apartment is literally located in the heart of Budapest it is the best fit for tourist arriving by plane and want to explore Budapest by walk.
